Sorbet Kiwi

1-1/2 oz. sugar

4 oz. water

7 oz. kiwi fruit, pared, pureed,

strained

lemon juice, to taste

Place sugar and water in saucepan. Heat, stirring, to dissolve sugar. Remove from heat; let cool. Stir in kiwi and lemon juice. Place in ice-cream freezer; freeze according to manufacturer\'s instructions.
